Sam and Yiernoshi paused at the foot of a high cliff.

"Okay. First step of training: I want you to climb that in two days."

Yiernoshi gaped.

"What kind of insane training is that?!"

"It's not insane. Right now, your stamina is very low. Climbing the cliff will help you."


"But I can't do it! It's impossible!"

Sam raised an eyebrow.

"Then take this."

She raised her gun, and shot Yiernoshi in the head.

Immediately, Yiernoshi sprang up, huge flame blazing on her forehead.

"REBORN! Climb the cliff with my dying will!"

Half an hour and several bullets later, Yiernoshi finally made it to the top.

"That was insane! The flame only lasts for five minutes!"

"Now, we begin the second step of training. You will learn how to make the flame last longer."

"How?"

Alene stepped out of the shadows.

"I will help thee, Lord Yiernoshi."

Mun and Claire were on the school rooftop.

Claire had her tonfa out, and Mun was holding a rather long word plucked from the pages of The Right Word.

"On top of the school roof, how memorable. I like it here, you know."

Claire smirked.

"Then I'll let you stay here forever."

She broke into a headlong run, tonfas at the ready.

"After I make you grovel."

Mun grinned, blocking the blow with a definite noun.

"For your age, you're pretty good."

"What are you talking about? I'm going easy on you."

Mun plucked out a very long word, ready to defend.

"Right here, right now, I'll book you to death."

She raised her tonfa, only to find that it had been wrapped up in Mun's words.

Mun smiled.

"You're pretty good. However, I don't want you to only be satisfied at this level. I'll have you become stronger, Claire."

"Whatever."

Christine sighed, and looked out at the forest. This was where she was going to be training alone for the next 10 days.

"Hey, you're not going to train by yourself, are you? You'll never get stronger that way."

A girl emerged from the undergrowth, holding a mirror.

"I'm Marian. I'll train you to become better. What do you say?"

Christine sniffed.

"...Alright."

Victoria sighed. She wanted to train to get stronger, to beat up that annoying girl with the softball bat. Unfortunately, nobody she knew could actually train her.

"Are you Victoria?"

She looked up. Standing next to her was a lanky girl.

"My name's Mei Ling. Mun asked me to train you, y'know."

Victoria nodded.

"I can see you desperately want training. Very well, tomorrow I will meet you behind your school, where there is a huge patch of flat land. I will be there at 8 in the morning sharp. Don't be late, and don't forget your golf club."

The ring twinkled in Jeanine's hand.

She looked up at the person beside her.

"So that's the story behind this ring?"

"Yup."

"Then...I think I'll accept this training."

"Awesome! We'll start tomorrow, in the forest near the cliffs."

Jeanine nodded absentmindedly.

Next to her, Carmen grinned. This was going to be fun.

In Italy...
"Oi, Chip."

"Yes, boss? Are ya going to reward me for getting the rings? I'll happily accept any reward!"

The figure sprawled on the ornate chair growled.

"Chip, you idiot! These rings are FAKE!"

Chip blinked.

"HEEEEEY! Those kids tricked me!"

The figure rose.

"Let's go. We're going to get the real rings back."

I'm sorry! I changed Claire's power! I just found that tonfas were easier to write about, so sorry to all of you who were looking forward to the tie-sword thing. I may work that in though. :)
