Christine slowly got up from the tree she had been thrown into, legs trembling slightly.

She turned to Victoria.

"This is my fight. Don't interfere."

"But..."

"I mean it. This is my fight. I fight alone."

"But..."

"I am the right hand. I should be the one doing all the impertant stuff. Not you. So get lost."

Victoria sighed.

"Fine. Go ahead and do whatever you want."

"I fully intend to. Now get out of my way."

Mischan watched all of this with a slight smirk on her face.

"Friends breaking up?"

"Don't worry, I'm not going to run. I'll be your opponent."

Victoria scowled at Christine's back, and turned away.

Christine lighted some of the sticks of dynamite, and flung them at Mischan. The trees exploded into flame, but Mischan dodged the tendrils of fire, hopping onto one of her oversized balls.

"That the only trick you've got?"

"Maybe."

Christine loaded her weapon, and fired it at Mischan.

Her power has doubled? Mischan thought.

A huge barrier sprang up from Mischan's ring, diverting the red flame.

"Eh? An electromagnetic barrier? Those rings can do that?"

"Don't be surprised. This ring holds the same power as the destroyed Carbonara Rings. This is a Stallion Ring."

Mischan grinned, and she plunged her green flame into another box, withdrawing a racket. (Y'know, tennis racket, badminton racket, etc...or is it spelled racquet?)

"It's about time I begin my attack."

"Eh? What is that?"

Mischan said nothing, only swinging her weapon, and sending two of them flying towards Christine.

The two balls landed on the ground next to Christine. A moment later, they had released an electric charge, electrocuting Christine.

"Gah!"

Mischan smirked.

"How does it feel, the feeling of Shot Plasma? Can you see the gates of Heaven?"

"Unh..."

Christine fell to the ground.

Victoria stood hidden in the shadows, watching with a scowl on her face, arms crossed.

Slowly, she closed her eyes, shutting out the fight.

Yiernoshi ran, trying to catch up to Kah Yunn, who was dragging Jeanine.

"Where are we going?"

"Just now, I sensed a powerful ring on my locator. It was heading towards the warehouse. That's where we're going."

"The warehouse...isn't that where Christine and Victoria are?"

"Exactly."

Christine slowly pushed herself off the ground.

"The electricity from the charged balls...sparked off from underground?"

"To be more precise, they are Dying Will Flames with properties very much like that of electricity. The characteristics of flames with a lightning attribute are to increase the purity of a substance to a fine cutting edge."

"Here, have a better taste of it. I insist!"

She whacked another two.

Christine leapt out of the way just in time.

"How many times!"

Flying before you have wings? thought Mischan. Well, this is the end for you!

She readied herself to launch yet another ball.

But before she could, someone had pushed Christine out of the way.

Victoria.

"...Victoria..."

Victoria said nothing. Suddenly, she swung her golf club, and hit Christine hard, sending her flying into a tree.

"Ow! What was that for?"

"I'll beat that rotten temper of yours into shape.

"What did you say?"

"I heard that before you came to Tutipore and met Yiernoshi, you were a lone wolf who didn't trust anybody. For that reason, I can see why you are so loyal to Yiernoshi, the first person who opened your heart. But if you open your heart only to Yiernoshi, all you're doing is putting the pressure on her."

"What the heck are you talking about?"

"In the first place, the right hand is supposed to be the leader of the Guardians that the boss can trust the most, right? You're supposed to pull the Guadians together! Instead, you turn away from them. What kind of rubbish is this? Right now, you have no right to call yourself the right hand."

Victoria turned to Mischan.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. I'm your opponent now."

Mischan swung her racket (racquet?), sending some balls flying towards Victoria.

I'll cut them! she thought to herself.

Readying herself to unsheath her sword-club, she was about to cut the balls when Christine leapt up, kicking her away.

"Christine! You..."

"You want to die from an electric shock? The boss would be devastated!"

Mischan smirked.

"Give it up! You both will die here anyway."

"Yes. Certaintly we'll die here, one after the other. that's if we fight one-on-one. That's why we were sent out in pairs. Bah. To me, it's more like the burden of looking after Victoria."

"Christine..."

"You gonna keep slacking, Victoria? It's about time we worked together, and beat her up."

"You bet!"

Victoria looked at Mischan.

"So, what's the plan?"
